Severe Flooding in Dorohoi

Shortly before midnight on 28th June most of the low-lying areas of the town were inundated with rain and river water.  Six people died in Dorohoi and nearly a thousand houses were affected, many of them are now beyond any hope of repair.

Asociatia Neemia already had stocks of clothing and food in Dorohoi and we were able to share these with the victims. However, many of these people have lost all their possessions and, with household insurance virtually unheard-of, rebuilding their lives will be a slow and expensive process.

Email Spam

The roaf.org email address is for incoming messages only.  It is checked on a daily basis and valid messages are passed to the relevant person, who will then reply directly using their own email address.  We have been receiving approximately 100 messages per day, well over 99% of which are unsolicited spam. If you have not had a reply to a message within 3 working days then do resend it, as it is easy to overlook the gems amongst the dross. It also helps if you can include something distinctive in your subject line.

We do not send out messages from the RoAF.org addresses.  Any messages purporting to come from the roaf.org address are spam and should be deleted without being opened.
