Welcome!

This photograph gallery shows the activities of the Romanian Aid Foundation (UK) and Asociatia Neemia in northeastern Romania, together with collaborating organisations and individuals. The gallery is organised into Categories, which are then divided into Albums.

The principal category is the Chronological Library: the photos are compiled by month, with the most recent month first.

The secondary categories are:

- Publications: Compilation category for photos used in our online documents.
- Events and Activities: noteworthy events and activites.
- Making It Happen: the logistics behind the Romanian Aid Foundation and Asociatia Neemia, and our supporters and collaborators. Now including a special album for knitters
- Collection, Transport and Delivery: showing the transport of aid to Romania, including collection, packing, storage and distribution.
- Miscellaneous: including photos of scenes and scenery.

- Joy in a Box: including class boxes and sponsored gift boxes. Note: the annual Christmas shoebox collection and distribution has been discontinued, these photos are retained for historical purposes.

These photographs are linked to other albums as appropriate, so you can also view them by subject, using the search button on the top menu.
At this stage in the development of the library, adding the metadata for each photo is still a work in progress, and full descriptions and cross-references are incomplete.

Dorohoi Shop

The Asociatia Neemia shop in Dorohoi offers good quality items at reasonable prices to people who would not qualify for donations. There is a sales limit of 15% of the items received but the proceeds are able to cover all the costs of the charitable activities in Romania, as well as generating a small surplus which is used to help people with fuel bills, medicines or other emergencies.
